Hand Made, From
Start to Finish. This is the best way we can describe
our sticks. We start by selecting young hickory saplings, wood noted
for its toughness. They are cut, peeled, cured; then the work begins.
We remove all rough edges, then we sand, sand, sand and do more
sanding. We are also using fine steel wool during the process.The
sticks are given three coats of polyurethane and finally they are
fitted with a leather strap. We use two basic lengths but can cut
them to any length that you desire. The end product is a beautiful,
hand crafted, walking stick that anyone would be proud to carry
in the woods.
